We recently stayed two pleasant nights at Shadow Hills RV Resort in Indio, California and I thought I’d take day 311 of the Nowhere To Be Project to tell you all about it. The park is located just off Interstate 10 in a mostly residential area. It is very quiet and the pride of ownership shows throughout the gated resort.
We were in spot 43 which was relatively tree free (always a plus for our satellite dish). While the spots are closely placed, there is still plenty of space to set up outdoors and enjoy the desert air. The restrooms and laundry facilities are well placed for easy access in the resort. Surprisingly, the bathhouses are stocked with products like body wash and deodorant just in case you forgot something! The washers and dryers were reasonably priced and worked well. The gym did its job and the library offered countless titles and DVDs for lend. There was even an ice cream and hot cocoa social by the heated pool during our stay, again demonstrating that the owners of this park are enjoying their work and their guests. We would most definitely choose Shadow Hills RV Resort again while visiting the Palm Springs area and we encourage you to do the same! The resort earned four out of five hearts with us!
